Born in France, Pascal Demonsand attended the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSB-A) in Paris, where he studied drawing and sculpture. He moved to Canada in 1980, and settled in Bourget, Ontario. Recipient of a grant from the Ontario Arts Council, his works are part of public and private collections, including those of Loto Québec, the Centre culturel et sportif of the Clarence-Rockland City and Cité-Jeunesse and Marc-Garneau schools in Trenton, Ontario.

 

Pascal Demonsand traverses a range of medias, including sculpture, drawing, painting, installation and uses photography, projections, bronze, industrial products, such as paints and caulking. The artist relies on empirical experimentation with a variety of traditional and non-traditional practices. He is active in the art community and is a member of different art organizations.
